I heart accessories

Accessories can really brighten a boring hairdo or an outfit. 

For me, I love hair bands,bow clips, flowers. Anything that adds a different look to the hairdo. 

To me, we do not need too many necklaces. It is not as important unless you have a good hairdo. 

Rings are also a cool element to have to start a conversation and to add that a certain class if its crystal or diamonds. 

I think that designers in general are getting bored of basics. Although basics are still a must in everyone's wardrobe, we shouldn't just rely on just basics but add a certain ooph to the outfit by having a good hairdo especially. 

I think I should start an accessories line (when i have the $) just because accessories do play an important part in our lives. 

Wasteland

I like the mixture of rocker chic and a tutu at the same time. Metal cuffs or chokers are also something to add a modern look to the outfit


I have this skirt of mine which is a tutu at the back and a normal plain fabric in the front. It is from DEPRESSION, a local brand that has around 3 shops, one in Orchard cine being their latest shop that just opened quite recently. 

Person to look out for in Fashion

Style is what I love about this girl...

She is a VJ on MTV, started out as a girl next door. A girl that I saw in IHM canteen. Found out she's a friend of my friend. Followed her blog as I was attracted to her style. 

One day, I suddenly see that she was selected to be a VJ. 

It just doesn't take looks to go far. I felt that her sense of style, character( though I don't know her personally) and uniqueness made her famous.

Dull is cool

Grey, white and black and all things dull has sort of a low profile but classy look. Leather too goes well with these colours. 


I guess it kind of made me think about Zen with classiness gel together. 


Colours are important but only when you want that particular thing to stand out. For example, if you are wearing all things dull, a grassy green leather handbag will go well with your outfit.

Texture has suddenly become a hit in most high end brands. Transparent plasticy look makes it modern though it only looks good in the runway.(ps....you will look weird wearing a transparent plastic skirt in the streets) The whole idea of a costume(Cosplay) look has turned into fashion but a more subtle cosplay look with an element of classyness and functionality.

Warzone

FASHION to me shouldn't be too glamourous. I like to think that I am living in a world that is easy to survive. But no, that is not true at all...

The idea of a sweet love in a country like Paris paints a romantic picture. I used to think that this dream should exist. But now that I'm 23, still trying to make my way in this warzone of life, a simple pleasure of BACI chocolate is good enough for me.

I love the idea of an ordinary girl turning into a princess. It rarely happens in this world. 

For 2012, I hope that I would be able to keep on coming out with innovative ideas in my career and to move up my own ladder.

I also hope to save more money for rainy days.
