not myself doesn't mean theres no potential to be a better me

You seldom see A Singaporean dressing like what you see above. But I think that one day we might just be catching up.
I think being a Singaporean girl, what I do not like about it is that the environment created since young is all about exams and test papers, so much so that we aren't passionate about our surroundings, about the things we do.

What I really call being myself is when I'm able to appreciate my being to the fullest by connecting with my surroundings as well as with the clothes I wear, the things I touch.

I think that it is a collective approach to make this happen. It takes everyone to be part of it in order for everyone to benefit, or else it will just be a selfish act and a showing off attempt.

  1. Being yourself is the beginning of a transformation, we must have courage in doing things we are happy with, like wearing the clothes we feel like wearing for the day, putting the fragrance that perks us up, having that favourite cup of coffee or tea , if we do that we really live life to the fullest, the rest of Singapore can do what they want,it does"nt really matter,we set the trend, we don't have to follow all the time. It has to be spontaneous and natural, good night Emilie.
